Serhiy developed his exclusive author's style by studying the experience and trying the techniques of prominent icon painting schools of Ukraine and Italy. This style he has been using to paint icons for more than 30 years.

His author's style is technically long process. Icons are written from the very beginning (preparation of the wooden board for the icon) until consecration in the temple of God, only by the icon painter himself.
